The Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Ekemejero Ohwovoriole, SAN together with the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Emu and the Commissioner for Transport, Mr. Onoriode Agofure have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the state government with the NIDCO Gas Limited for the establishment of compressed national gas station in Asaba.

Chief Operating Officer of NIDCO, Mr. Sanje Tarat signed on behalf of his company.

Speaking after the signing of the MoU, Mr. Ohwovoriole urged the company to give Delta State Government and the people of the state value for money by ensuring standard.

Earlier, the SSG, Dr. Emu said that it was a deliberate efforts by the state government to provide a place in Asaba where people could convert their petrol vehicles to CNG.

Emu enjoined the company to make good use of the place provided for the establishment of the station, adding that the company must ensure adherence to standard.

In his remark, the State Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu assured that with time , CNG station would be established in Warri and out parts of the state.
